The Sunder Finance tokenomics
$SUNDER and $veSUNDER were first distributed to users and protocols that were most likely to support the protocol's goal of becoming the liquidity foundation layer of the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

Emission Schedule
Weekly emissions will start at 10 million $SUNDER and follow a three-phase model:
- Emissions will rise by 3% every epoch for the first 14 weeks, encouraging early protocol activity.
- In order to ensure that inflation gradually decreases as the protocol matures, emissions will decay by 1% per epoch beginning with Epoch 15.
- $veSUNDER holders will take over Sunder's monetary policy once emissions drop below 9 million per epoch (approx Epoch 67). Voters will select one of three options for emission rate for each epoch:
- Increase by 0.01% of total supply
- Decrease by 0.01% of total supply
- Maintain at the current percentage of total supply
